Mrs Death read us the story of King Arthur, then we used three
different pieces of paper and combined them to show what his castle looked
like.

Tahi's Lucky Day
One day a 9 year old girl named Hunter-Rose was talking to her mum about Pet Day at school.
“Mum can I take Tahi to school for Pet Day?” said Hunter-Rose.
“Ok! But you will need to take a collar and a bag.’’
“Ok Mum. Bye. Thank you.”
Hunter-Rose was walking to school.
“Hi Emily. Who did you bring to Pet Day?”
“I brought Blueberry to school."
“Cool. I brought Tahi to school."
“I thought Tahi barked a lot.”
Tahi was light brown with a white patch on his neck, tummy and back.
“Woof! Woof!”
“No Tahi. Emily, I guess you’re right. But anyway he is a really good dog.”
“Let’s see about that,” added Emily.
“Don’t be nasty, Emily. You never know. I could win first prize. Don’t listen to her, Tahi.”
Everyone made their way to the courts for the animal parade. All the classes made their way to their seats. Hunter-Rose was sitting at the front. Emily showed her pet calf, Blueberry. There were lots of other pets. Hunter-Rose’s favourite animal was the goat named Maddie.
Next was the dog parade.
“I hope we win, Tahi,” Hunter-Rose said.
“Woof! Woof!”
The children all walked around with their dogs.
After that, they all stood and waited for judging to finish and the winners to be named.
Hunter-Rose heard them call Hunter-Rose and Tahi!
Hunter-Rose was bursting with joy. She would never forget that day.
